22 The Presario Desktop range of products are covered by the HP One-Year Warranty. Coverage is for parts and labour, and the warranty is valid only in the Geography where the unit was purchased. In EMEA, if the product was bought in the European Union (EU) countries, Switzerland or Norway, you can claim your warranty in any one of these countries. Otherwise the warranty only applies in the country of purchase. Any Presario Notebook, purchased after January 1st 2000, is covered by the HP One-Year warranty for parts and labour. Warranty support will be provided in all countries that are participating in the International Traveller's Warranty (ITW) program. |

28 Effective from the 1st January 2002, the EU Directive to extend the warranty on Consumer products from 1 year to 2 years, came into effect. This directive only impacts EU member state countries and will be phased in as the individual EU member states implement the directive. As of 1st January 2002 the following EU member states have implemented this EU Directive: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany The Netherlands, Norway, Italy and Sweden. |

36 All monitors manufactured after March 2003 will have a 10 digit serial number and a 6# 3 Product number to define the appropriate warranty entitlement of the monitor. |

37 There are 2 versions of port replicator. Spares number 339096-001 (USB2.0) has a 2 year parts and labour mail in warranty. |

38 Note: NAS1000s maybe confused with the NAS1000 which has a 3 years parts only warranty. |
